               Public Communal Company “Parking Servis” Petrovac na Mlavi was formed based on a decision made by the Municipal Council of Petrovac on June 5th 2006 by separating this company from PCC “Izvor” Petrovac and PC “Direkcija za izgradnju i razvoj opstine Petrovac” and, as such, is registered with the Agency of Economical Registries of the Republic of Serbia on the 4th of August 2006. The basic activities of the company are maintaining of public parking spaces, as well as their marking and collecting payments from the public parking spaces in the town, removal and towing away of improperly parked vehicles, removal of vehicles found on public green surfaces and other tasks which are related to the work of public parking spaces, as a part of a context of general interest.

How to purchase a parking ticket?

            Terms of parking are regulated by the municipal conclusion on parking lots in the town area. According to these regulations, parking on the parking lots is allowed only with a visible and properly filled-out parking ticket.
Parking tickets are purchased at paper stands in town, as well as parking controllers of PCC “PARKING SERVICE”.

Prices of parking tickets

            The price of one parking ticket for one hour of parking in Zone I is 30,00 dinars; Zone II and at the special parking lot behind the “Investeksport” Mall is 20,00 dinars; the ticket for a one-day parking on all parking lots is 120,00 dinars.
The limitation of parking on all parking lots in town is not limited, provided that the parking ticket has been paid and properly filled-out. All available parking spaces are available for use.
There are also monthly parking tickets: zone I- 2.500,00 dinars, not including a discount for members of the Association of Entrepreneurs (2.000,00 dinars); zone II- 1.500,00 (1.200,00) dinars; reserved parking space for a duration of one month is 1.000,00 dinars.
For tenants who do not have a yard or a special parking space, a monthly ticket for special users in zone II of the parking space equals to the amount of 500,00 dinars.
In case of not paying the adequate parking ticket, a warning note will be given by the parking inspector. The person will then have to pay the ticket, which amounts 1.500,00 and 1.000,00 dinars for zones I and II, respectively. Should this ticket not be paid on time, an offence report will be submitted to a municipal court sector. The charge for this offence is 3.000,00 dinars, plus an extra 1.000,00 dinars for court expenses.
Vehicles without a properly paid ticket may be removed from the parking lots using a special “spider” vehicle.

How to recognize a parking zone?

            At the beginning of every street there is a special sign with an additional board with information on terms of parking, as well as the parking zone one is about to enter.
Zone I begins in the Milan Ristic St. (street-turn towards the Cultural Centre) and ends at Steva Milovanovic St. (near the church).
Zone II also contains streets surrounding the Green Market, such as part of Steva Milovanovic St. (from S. Vladara to Ceda Vasovic, part of the Ceda Vasovic St., as well as Laza Lazarevic St. (from Mlava promenade to S. Vladara)).
Zone II begins from Jovan Serbanovic St. (new traffic lights) to Milan Ristic St., from Steva Milovanovic St. to Solunska St. (ending with the turn towards the slaughter house), including all the intersecting streets where parking is charged.
Public Communal Company “Parking Servis”- Petrovac na Mlavi was founded in 2006 with a mission to introduce order into our small town, which in these times of fast-paced and urban consumer society looks more and more like smaller towns in European countries- at least when it comes to the number of vehicles on the roads. The goal is to arrange parking spaces just like in those developed countries, where such services are being used by their citizens for almost a century.
Thus far we have successfully performed our business and we are constantly thinking of ways to increase the quality and quantity of our services.
